About Chesapeake Driving School
Chesapeake Driving School, LLC is owned and operated by public school teachers in Calvert county. The MVA requires each instructor to go through training and pass exams in order to teach drivers education.
In addition to this extensive training, many of our instructors have actual college degrees in teaching, are fully certified teachers through the Maryland State Department of Education, and have decades worth of combined teaching experience at the secondary level.

JOSHUA COLLINS

“Joshua Collins is a Calvert County native, graduating from Huntingtown High School in 2016. Josh has worked in many fields, including construction, federal security, and has now entered his preferred career within the world of education.
Josh currently works with special needs students at Patuxent High School. Josh's easy-going attitude, youth and friendly demeanor, along with his desire to answer the many questions young students have in the classroom and behind the wheel of the car, makes him a true asset to Chesapeake Driving School."
RACHEL SAMPSON

Rachel is a proud Huntingtown High graduate who currently works as an educator at Patuxent High School. When she isn't rooting on Huntingtown High Women's Basketball or spending time with her adorable son, she is busy completing her Master's degree in Social Work. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter, especially while watching the Baltimore Ravens win NFL games.
QUINTON BYNUM
Instructor
Quinton is a graduate of Huntingtown High School and is currently studying Business at Bowie State. Quinton is one of our youngest instructors, but his personality and affability make driving with him as a Behind the Wheel instructor a very positive experience for students when they ride along with Q (as most people know him as). Q is a resident of Huntingtown and hopes to continue living in Southern Maryland once he gets his degree.
Nicholas Harrell
Instructor
Mr Harrell is a full time Instructional Assistant at Mill Creek Middle School in Calvert County. He is well known through out the school for his friendliness and patience with students, and these skills carry over perfectly for his employ at Chesapeake Driving School as both an 'Online Class' instructor and 'Behind the Wheel' instructor. When Mr. Harrell isn't busy working he is spending time with his wife, a fellow teacher at Mill Creek Middle, and daughter and maybe fitting in some gaming online if and when time allows.
Marcus Martin
Instructor
Coach Marcus is a full time Instructional Assistant at Huntingtown High School. From March until November you will find him spending his extra time working as an instructor for Chesapeake Driving School, using his amazing personality and people skills to help new drivers learn safe driving skills Behind the Wheel. But from November until the end of February the only place you will see coach Marcus outside of Huntingtown High hallways is on the courtside of Lady Canes basketball working as a head coach for JV girls and collaboarting the the Lady Cane staff to get those girls their first state championship in program history.
